Who we are

EDUC@ATIONAL DYNAMICS was founded in 1984 and is an accredited Language and Teacher Education Centre situated in Hermoupolis, the capital city of the island of Syros and of the Cyclades Islands in the South Aegean, Greece.

E.D. uses new technologies and modern teaching methods, and runs courses in English, Italian, German and Spanish. It operates throughout the year offering full-time courses to children, teenagers, adults, and professionals leading to international certifications according to CEFR and EQF. It also offers specialised courses to interesting parties in: Banking and Finance, Medicine, Business Skills, Civil Law, Economics, Tourism, Commerce, History of Art, English Literature.

E.D. is a Cambridge Examination Preparation Centre and has a broad network of collaborations for its academic purposes:

a) It collaborates with universities in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the USA

b) It networks with several organisations and academic institutions across Europe in multi-lateral EU Projects

c) It participates in educational pilot EU Projects

d) It is a member of the QLS Network – Quality School Services

e) It is registered with UCAS and undertakes procedures to register students to universities in the UK for undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies.

EU PROJECTS

Since 1997, E.D. has collaborated as subcontractor in LdV, Grundtvig, Socrates 2, EQUAL projects, and has participated as transnational partner in multi-lateral partnerships in LdV, Grundtvig and ERASMUS+ EU pilot projects.

INNOVATION

E.D. has long experience in designing e-learning educational tools, teaching methodologies based on interactive communication, and innovative vocational training methodologies. The E.D. teaching methodology, DynamicLearn, is an innovative teaching approach based on quality teaching practices.

AWARDS

The head of studies, Dr. Eugenia Papaioannou, has been awarded by the Panhellenic Federation of Language Centres, the Municipality of Hermoupolis. and the Prefecture of the Cyclades for her cultural and educational contribution. As transnational partner in EU projects, she has also been awarded the Helsinki Award 2006 for her contribution in the ESO-CSA project along with the entire consortium who created a system that identifies, assesses and acknowledges specialist competences in SMEs, also acquired through non-formal learning.
